Did you know there is a huge difference in the amount of positive impact of different charities? And did you know that scientific research is done on effective giving? In 2024 we have raised more than 300,000 Euro to effective charities; let's break the 400k barrier this year! All organizations below we have hosted or will be hosting this Summer of Giving at ASML, to share more about their organization and effectiveness. You can also consider donating to one of the causes individually.

Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22nd, marking the anniversary of the modern environmental movement. Earth Day is marked by more than a billion people annually as a day of action toward a cleaner environment and the fight against climate change. We encourage you to give to this campaign, or to search on Bright Funds for a nonprofit that is working toward a healthier planet. The composition of nonprofits in this fund is subject to change.

Serious request is a fundraising event by 3FM which are raising funds this year for 'Spieren voor Spieren' to raise money for new research, new treatments and new medicine for kids with a muscle disease. During the Dutch 3FM Serious Request, three radio DJs of the national channel (NPO) 3FM are locked up for six days in a small temporary radio studio. It is placed in a main square in Den Bosch. During the event, they live on a liquid diet.
