International Women's Day (IWD), observed annually on March 8, is a worldwide celebration of women’s achievements. It offers an opportunity to reflect on progress made, to call for change, and to honor acts of courage and determination by women who have helped in moving the needle toward gender parity within their countries and communities. Our approach of building feminist solidarity among organizations across the Global South is central to achieving this mission.
