About

The Veterans Day Fund features organizations that support the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces, and their families. These organizations provide a variety of services, including mental health and supportive services, financial assistance, and support for life after duty including job opportunities and community engagement. Veterans Day by the Numbers: 19.5 million – the approximate number of veterans in the United States 9 million – the number of veterans over the age of 65 5.06 million – the number of veterans receiving disability compensation 2 million – the number of female veterans of those receiving disability compensation 500k – the number of World War II veterans still living in the United States 1.56 million – the number of veterans in California, the highest number in the country 1.46 million – the number of veterans in Texas, the second-highest number in the country 11% – the percentage of veterans who experience homelessness 50% – the percentage of veterans experiencing homelessness who also live with a mental illness like PTSD Through a single donation to the Veterans Day Fund, you will support highly-rated organizations dedicated to supporting and honoring America's veterans. American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a national nonprofit organization focused on helping returning veterans find their next careers through one-on-one mentoring, networking and online career advice.More than 1 million veterans are expected to transition from the armed forces to civilian life over the next five years. ACP engages the American people in a unique volunteer opportunity to provide career guidance to returning military as they transition back into civilian life.We believe that the biggest issue facing our returning service members is not unemployment – it’s underemployment. ACP focuses on helping veterans and the spouses of active duty service members find meaningful employment opportunities and develop long-term careers.

To facilitate Posttraumatic Growth through transformative programs, world-class training and education initiatives, and research and advocacy efforts.

Wounded Warrior Project

The mission of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Our vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history.

Patriots And Paws

We help by reducing psychological and financial stress to our Veterans as they transition back into civilian life and Active Duty/Reservists as they are returning home from deployment. We provide basic home furnishings and necessities for free, resulting in hope and dignity. We will also, at their request, through our animal rescue partners, unite them with a rescued animal so it can be trained to become a companion or emotional support animal through our community partners for free, giving them a sense of purpose and support. We can also refer our Veterans to our Service Dog Partners who provide free ADI Certified and trained PTSD or Guide Dogs for those Veterans in need.

Honor Flight, Inc.

Our mission is to transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
