Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the island of Carriacou on July 1, 2024 as a powerful Category 4 hurricane, making its way through the island nations of Antigua, Grenada, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Homes, businesses, and infrastructure throughout the region have been destroyed, fatalities have been reported, and those impacted are facing displacement and devastation. The hurricane has since been upgraded to a Category 5 storm and is projected to hit Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and the Yucatán Peninsula later this week. The selected nonprofits are responding to impacted areas to provide support and resources to those affected. At the end of October 2024, Spain's Valencia region was hit by severe flash floods, with relentless rains sweeping through cities, towns and rural areas alike. In some areas a year's worth of rain poured in a single day which led to terrible consequences for locals and infrastructures. These conditions have left several areas completely isolated, with no access to electricity, gas or clean water. Torrential rains have cut off entire communities making it difficult for families to receive essential supplies and emergency care. Roads are blocked, power lines are down, and emergency response services are overwhelmed by the attention needed. The lack of access to basic utilities is putting vulnerable populations at high risk, especially the elderly and children.

A powerful and devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey and northern Syria in the early morning hours of February 6, 2023. More than 2,000 people have been killed with the death toll quickly rising, and thousands have been injured. The infrastructure across several Turkish provinces as well as northern Syria has been destroyed, bringing further instability to communities already in crisis. Your donation to this Fund will help the following organizations provide on-the-ground needs assessments, rescue efforts, resource distribution, and medical intervention to those impacted. Between July 4 and July 6, 2025, heavy rainfall and catastrophic flooding devastated multiple communities across Central Texas. In the early morning hours of July 4th, the Guadalupe River rose more than 20 feet in just one hour, displacing thousands of families and causing widespread damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure—including Camp Mystic, a summer camp for young girls. More than 80 deaths have been reported, and many remain missing as additional flash flooding is expected across the state. Relief efforts are actively underway, with several nonprofit organizations on the ground working collaboratively with local community leaders and officials to provide essential relief resources including food, water, shelter, medical care, and search and rescue services.
