A group of students with a heart that beats for others, joined forces in 1992 to answer the cries for help from the needy worldwide. They wanted to improve the world from their small attic room in Amsterdam. From this willpower, Islamic Relief Nederland was founded. The first Orphan Project soon became a fact and three decades later it is still the most successful project of Islamic Relief Nederland. In 30 years, Islamic Relief Nederland has grown into one of the largest Islamic humanitarian aid organizations in the world. A foundation that has projects running in more than 29 countries. A foundation that has undergone enormous development. As we look to the future, we are always learning, developing and improving, to improve the living conditions of the poorest and needy people.

Through Education, Employment and Basic Life Needs, we help children and families in the desert of Pushkar (Rajasthan - India) to escape the intergenerational cycle of poverty. The Blue House Project is a non-profit organization founded to support disadvantaged families living in tents in the desert of Pushkar (Rajasthan - India). The families belong to the Scheduled Castes who are deprived of basic needs, stable income and education. Because past was not always kind to kids in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we work hard to make sure their future is kinder. Until no child in Bosnia and Herzegovina suffers from poverty, we need your help. Many parents are still struggling to afford school lunches and schoolbooks for their kids. No child should face to be excluded from a school lunch that can leave a long-lasting impact on their wellbeing and education. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the reality of child poverty is not just a distant concept—it's a daily challenge for too many. A striking statistic reveals that 1 in 3 children in the country are living in poverty. This doesn't merely mean going without luxuries; it often means going without necessities. Charity Bosnian Kids organization is determined to make a real difference. Your support can help ensure no child is left behind. Join us, and together, let’s secure a hopeful, nourished future for every child. If we reach our goal, we can support around more than 20 kids for entire 2023/2024 school year. In the Bay Area, 1 in 5 people is too poor to meet their basic needs. That’s 1.3 million people who are making the impossible choice of paying the rent or putting food on the table. In San Francisco, where rental prices are the highest in the nation and the average family earns $153,000 a year, the disparity is staggering. Tipping Point fights poverty in the Bay Area. We identify and invest in the most effective education, employment, housing and early childhood development non-profits, and partner with the public sector to leverage our impact for the common good.

Nobody needs to be told that poverty is a problem. 1.3 billion people live on under $1.25 a day and we all know the suffering this creates - children die, families starve, and students complete school unable to read a simple sentence. But it is possible to make a real dent in the problems that face the poorest people. Mulago looks for scalable solutions to poverty and funds them. We look for the best solutions in health, livelihoods, education, energy and conservation and fund the organizations that can deliver those solutions. We find and fund those organizations most able to create scalable impact for the poor in these priority areas. The health organizations Mulago funds save lives by bringing high-quality, cost-effective health care to the poor in Africa and Asia. We look for organizations that provide services that farmers need and that increase their incomes. The education organizations we fund help provide a quality education to poor people. Our job is to find the organizations best able to create change and give them what they need to do it.

Nonprofits in this fund are working to ensure everyone has access not only to basic needs like food and shelter, but also to opportunities for self-sufficiency and prosperity.
